The Florida Receivers Forum is a non-profit support group for court-appointed receivers and other bankruptcy-related services such as attorneys, accountants, judges, receivers, appraisers, auctioneers, real estate brokers, property managers, insurance agents/bonding brokers, secured lenders, bankers and governmental agencies.

The mission of the Florida Receivers Forum is to provide a statewide organization to promote the ethical administration of receivership practice and encourage increased professionalism in the receivership area by providing educational tools and services; to educate receivers and to educate the judicial community on the process and benefit of appointing receivers; to develop universal forms and procedures approved by the judiciary for receivers for the entire state of Florida; and to ultimately establish a certification process. Other goals for the group include legislative support to enhance the quality and consistency of receivership services statewide.

The Florida Receivers Forum was formed by interested receivers, attorneys, accountants, auctioneers, bankers, and property managers from the south Florida area. Currently, one chapter has been established in Miami, with plans underway to expand throughout the state.
